Muflone

Airy fabric, soft, light wool, characterized by a dense and irregular pile that hides a twill weave. It is made from carded yarns and used for making fashionable women’s coats. The name derives from the mouflon, a wild sheep that normally lives in Corsica and Sardinia.

Muslin

An inexpensive, medium weight, plain weave, low count (less than 160 threads per square inch) cotton sheeting fabric. In its unfinished form, it is commonly used in fashion design to make trial garments for preliminary fit.
